1990's A Propellerhead ReBirth 338 jobby, see Charabanc.

1990's This, I think, was done on a Propellerhead ReBirth 338. I managed to stuff it full of random piano and string samples (a "mod") and played about with it until it sounded almost musical.
1990's An early attempt to be a muso. I thought cut'n'paste was New and Exciting back then.
1990's Another early attempt to be a muso, cutin' an' a pasting.
1990's A jolly little ditty. "Version" was a TDK SA C90 tape on which I recorded my best work, you can hear the wow and flutter, it's the only copy of my early work, on a cassette tape. Urgh.
1990's Another overwrought angst-filled song "sung" by me. Amazed that I kept that acoustic guitar going all through the song. A real bass guitar too.
1990's Ok, another on of my songs what I wrote and had to sing myself. I learnt to play harmonica for this, kinda. And the electric guitar, which I still have, a Hohner one. Possibly the tin whistle you can hear is also real. Virtuoso!
1990's A long, slow track, moving about with a nice tune, inspired most likely by Tangerine Dream.
1990's This is a nice tune, all on the black keys as I remember!
1990's A QY10 jobby again, and also maybe using a Yamaha TG-100 for the squelchy sounds.
1990's A QY10 jobby again, catchy title.
1990's Probably the best piano tune you will ever hear. I recorded the piano on the QY10 and had to stop when it ran out of memory. I wish I had the original QY10 data for this but alas, no. This is the only copy I have of this song, which is from a TDK SA C90 tape.
1990's This is a bit special to me for all kinds of reasons. It had two sets of lyrics, the first being overly religous and the second all about a fine young lady I was seeing at the time. This is the second version. The first is lost, oh dear :)
1990's Ah, right, this is my first ever decent recording of a song I wrote, and I insisted on "singing" it myself.
14th January 1992 Another QY10 fellow. This one got played at a party! People danced and everything.
21st September 1991 Another QY10 chap, probably created when I was working in America.
1990's Probaby my first experiment with the Yamaha QY10, the first portable programmable synth. Sounds good to me, even with the stock General Midi sounds.
1990's This is the very first recording I ever made, using my home-built Transendant 2000 synth, as used by New Order at the time. Possibly a BOSS Dr Rhythm drum machine and some clever slowing down of a guitar to sound like a bass. I'd forgotten I sing on this. And there's some echo on it as well. Crikey.
